Shipping & Delivery Notes
Due to the perishable nature of our products we ship on Mondays and Tuesdays for delivery the same week. Please select from the drop down menu the date you wish to ship. You can estimate your delivery with our Delivery Times map.
Prices Include Shipping
All prices on our web site include applicable taxes, shipping via UPS ground service and handling for the 48 contiguous states.
No additional charges are applied unless an unusual shipping arrangement or expediting charges apply for rushed shipments.
Shipping days are generally Monday and Tuesdays so that our products do not sit in a warehouse over the weekend. You can choose which day you want each item to ship when you load it in your shopping cart. (Note, once in your shopping cart you can not change the date unless you delete the item and reorder it with a different date of your choosing.) We ship via UPS ground with delivery 1-3 days after shipping. Due to the perishable nature of our products, they are shipped frozen.
All orders are shipped as "DRIVER RELEASE". This means the package will be delivered to the recipient address with no signature required. (Except at apartments where a signature is required but may be left in the office.) Packages can be left at any exterior door location. Please be sure to alert the recipient that a perishable gift will be delivered to them.
For Delivery Times click here to see how many days after shipping your order will arrive. Upon receiving, remove it from the box and outside packaging material leaving it within the heavy-duty freezer bag and gold foil it arrives in. If you do not plan to serve it within 5 days, immediately put it in the freezer, keeping it again in the same foil and freezer wrap packaging. Otherwise put it in the refrigerator and enjoy in the next few days. Remember unless freezing your ham or turkey should be consumed within 7-10 days. For maximum freshness and flavor, your ham or turkey should be used within 45-60 days of freezing. Allow three days to thaw in the refrigerator before serving at room temperature.
Ship December 9th or 16th: We always recommend shipping early during the holidays. First, if it is a gift, the recipient will be able to plan when to use it, be it for Christmas day or a holiday party. Secondly, we guarantee delivery for Christmas to the address you provide and should the carrier for any reason not get it there we can reship it in a timely manner.
We will ship all Christmas orders received by 3:00pm CST of December 17th in time for Christmas as normal with no shipping charges. See our Delivery Times map for anticipated arrival.
Through December 20th at 3:00pm CST we will ship to deliver by December 24th although a $25 Expediting Charge for shipping airfreight to AZ, CA, CT, FL, ID, MA, ME, MT, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, RI, UT, OR, VA, VT, WA, WV, WV may apply based on the delivery zip code. After 3:00pm CST December 20th we may still be able to accommodate your order please call toll free 1-877-877-4267 for specific pricing and shipping instructions.
Ship by December 17th: To accomodate all the holidays in the middle of our shipping weeks, we will ship all orders received by 3:00 pm CST December 17th in time for your New Years Day celebration. We will be delivering these orders by December 20th- check the Delivery Times map to be sure someone will be home for delivery. Upon arrival put your ham or turkey in the freezer and allow three days to thaw in the refrigerator before serving. (See our Serving tips/FAQs.)

Expedited: December 27th until 3:00pm CST we will ship for delivery by December 31st although a $25 Expediting Charge will apply for all states. Just click on Shipment Methods right above Payment information to choose Expedited Shipping!
Should you need to have your order delivered within 2 days, check the Delivery Times map first to see if 2-Day Airfreight, our "Expedited Shipping" will get it delivered more quickly. If you choose to ship 2-Day Airfreight to insure a more timely delivery than our standard UPS ground delivery an additional $25 will be charged. This sometimes becomes mandatory if trying to ship the same week as Thanksgiving or sometimes Christmas so plan ahead. Remember our ham and turkeys freeze wonderfully as they are not water injected as some hams are. You can even refreeze leftovers! Just click on Shipment Methods right before Payment to choose Expedited Shipping!
Be sure to provide a complete and current address including apartment or suite numbers and zip codes. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, APO or FPO addresses.
Include a telephone number and/or e-mail address for a gift recipient. The e-mail address allows you to alert your recipient that a perishable package has been shipped to them.
Note, Holiday Ham Co. cannot be responsible for incorrect addresses or gift recipients not being home at the time of delivery.
We will ship to Alaska and Hawaii for an additional $35 due to the high shipping charges. All shipments will go out on a Monday and should be received on Friday. Note no shipping to Alaska or Hawaii can be done the week of Thanksgiving so plan ahead!
Holiday hams and turkeys are all shipped frozen wrapped in a heavy gold foil and placed in a heavy-duty freezer bag, for your convenience. Upon receipt, this is what would be placed in the refrigerator or freezer depending on when you are serving it.
For shipping, they are then wrapped in a padded insulation sleeve and placed in a Styrofoam cooler and then gift boxed. Instructions and serving tips are included in each package.
Your specific greeting up to 4 lines of 35 characters each will appear on the shipping label. Just choose "Edit Gift Options" on the righthand sidebar during the checkout process to enter your own personalized message. Note, if no message is inserted a standard message of "From and your name" will be used.
A message of any size may be included if the recipients e-mail address is provided. UPS will only use any e-mail address provided to send your message and to provide notification of delivery. The message is sent to them on the day it is shipped so that they may anticipate receipt.
Tracking my Shipment
On the day your package is shipped UPS will e-mail the tracking number of your package to the e-mail address or addresses you provided on your shipping order.
Changes and Cancellations
Changes and cancellations must be received at least 7 days before your shipping date.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover when placing your order online.
Payment is due at the time the order is placed.
